Community
The community widget provides a place for users to have a chat, a discussion - to become part of the wider dialogue. Instead of just broadcasting a message or information, now users can be engaged on their own terms, users feel empowered being able to join in the conversation and have their say.
The community is one area of Apptivate where all of the social commenting and viral marketing really comes together, users that post comments on the community also have the option of publishing their comments onto FaceBook or Twitter, this means that all of their following on Twitter or FaceBook will also see the users comment and which app it was published by. This means that the other users are now invited to participate in the conversation and the cycle repeats itself, having a viral effect.
