Security
We take security very seriously. The entire Apptivate system was designed around the premise of being as secure as possible.
Security was build in from the ground up, each module of Apptivate was tested independently and secured.
Encryption Protocols
We use security protocols similar to the ones used by banks. For example when you are logging in and out of Apptivate and entering in card details the strictest form of encryption is used, namely: 256 bit encryption. This encryption is also used for other critical data transfer activities within Apptivate.
Security Certificate
All of the encrypted data transfers are certified using an SSL or secure socket layer cert. Our issuing authority is GoDaddy Inc. who certify that the encrypted traffic is indeed secure. We take additional security protocols my making sure that system data is only accessible to genuine Apps produced by the Apptivate System.
Secure Payments
Our payments our handled by a secure PCI compliant gateway: www.worldnettps.com - this means that we do not store credit card data directly on our own system or server. Your credit card details are stored in a very secure system with the payment gateway company that use an even more advanced security storing system than most banks.
Application Security
At an application level we make every attempt to routinely test the Apptivate system for security checks to ensure your App continues to run like a well oiled machine. Our servers that store the information about your App have the highest levels of redundancy and firewalls built in to ensure business continuity.
